Research Agenda

My dissertation explored the leadership preferences of Generation Z (born around 1995).  The focus of my short-term and long-term research goals remains centric to this generational cohort.  However, generational differences in the workplace is a broader topic that I have aims to research.  Trends in higher education and women's leadership issues have also become avenues of research I am currently working in.

An opportunity to train local schools to incorporate trauma-informed practices has allowed me to explore a wider scope of research regarding education.  A series of side projects on this topic have resulted in a study I will be presenting at conference in 2020.

In recent years, I have also become quite interested in mixed method and ethnomethodological designs.

Here are a few deliverables on my research agenda:
  • Converting dissertation into a book manuscript
  • Article in Progress: "The Generational Organizational Lifecycle (GOL): A Conceptual Model"
  • Article in Progress: "A Theoretical Framework to Support the Link of Generational Identity to Organizational Performance"
  • Fellowship Project: Exploring the completion expectations of online doctoral students
  • Book in Progress: "Dr. Widow"
